Sleep Quality Check

Poor sleep is linked to a wide range of health problems as we age — including heart disease, diabetes, depression, and cognitive decline. In a meta-analysis of 74 studies covering over 3 million people, poor sleep quality specifically was linked to a 44% higher risk of coronary heart disease (Kwok et al., Journal of the American Heart Association, 2018).

You'll answer a few questions about your sleep over the past month — when you go to bed, how long you sleep, and how often certain things disturb your rest. Based on the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), one of the most widely used sleep questionnaires in research and clinical care.
